TOURNAMENT
RULES

• Each team's roster is limited to a maximum of 18 players.
• Coaching staff is limited to 5 staff members per team - for example, a head coach, assistant coach, trainer/medical staff, and a social media/team operations staff member.

• Fútbol Fest USA uses a 7v7 format, played in two 20-minute halves.
• The field measures 65 yards by 45 yards.
• Goals are 6 feet high by 12 feet wide, the standard size for small-sided 7v7 play.

Field markings (penalty area, penalty spot, and center circle) are scaled proportionally for the smaller 7v7 pitch. Full diagrammed markings will be published closer to the tournament.

• There is no offside rule.
• Throw-ins are replaced by kick-ins.
• Substitutions may be made at any time during the game - play does not need to stop for a substitution.
• Slide tackles are not allowed on a disputed ball or as a defensive tackle against another player. A slide tackle may be used only to prevent the ball from going out of play or into a particular area - never in a way that is used against another player.
• The goalkeeper cannot punt or drop-kick the ball.

• At the end of regulation time, the team with the most goals wins the game.
• In the event of a tie at the end of regulation, the target score system is implemented, and each team starts overtime with one fewer player on the field.

• All matches are officiated by two referees, plus an additional referee dedicated to managing substitutions.

• All players on a team must wear identical uniforms - jersey, shorts, and socks.
• The title partner's logo must be displayed on the center chest of the uniform.
• The official tournament logo must be displayed on the right sleeve.

• Fútbol Fest USA has zero tolerance for hate speech of any kind, by players, coaches, staff, or spectators. Violations may result in immediate ejection and forfeiture of tournament eligibility.
